For an industrial project the HSE Manager will be in charge of :
• A Health and safety document PSS (Plan de Sécurité et de Santé) and a risk analysis must be written for each work.
• Insure the implementation of the safety standards of the company
• Help the construction to prepare the safety plan document for all construction work
• Check the status of each external company regarding legal authorization to work in Luxemburg, safety training organization and tracking for all the external companies
• Help the construction manager during the sites meeting
• Perform several audits every day to ensure the good safety standards application
• Support the construction manager to anticipate the safety problems
• Participate to the monthly steering committee of the project, and present the safety reports where, kpi’s (LTI, Medical treatment, dangerous situation and how many audits has been performed during the erection phase,…). Also present the critical safety situation identified.
Additional information :
• Start : ASAP
• University degree or University Level (Master) in Engineering and technical education/expertise in HSE
• 5 years in a similar job in industry
• People management skills (Drive, motivate people & real leadership)
• Empathetic, diplomatic with a real desire to ensure that subcontractors and on-site people don’t have work accidents.
• Result driven, strong analytical and synthetic skills
• Project management skills & knowledge, Financial, budget & forecast understanding
