The Project Engineer is responsible for the execution of the project. He/she is in charge of the following responsibilities, under the responsibility of the Technical Project Manager :
• Technical contract analysis
• Application of the Design Process,
• Coordination of internal and external design teams,
• Defense of company’s interests in an appropriate way in front of Customers and Suppliers,
• Preparation of RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages for the Purchase department
• Technical negotiations with Suppliers,
• Follow up of the engineering of the Suppliers,
• Key point of contact for mechanical erection and commissioning advisors on site,
• Technical risks assessments,
• Application of internal standards and good practices,
• Promotion of quality, efficiency and productivity to meet business objectives and goals,
• Prioritization of tasks,
• Promotion and implementation of continuous improvement.
• Your experiences and technical skills: Chimical, electromechanical, mechanical engineer or equivalent
• He/She must be available for temporary missions, sometimes on short notice, including international travel.
• Generalist profile with 2 or 3 years’ experience in project execution
• PMBOK-PMI principle is a plus
• Analysis of contractual requirements in regards with internal standards as well as application of internal technical choices
• Understanding of international codes and norms (mainly ASME, EN and ISO)
• Understanding of basic design of the products of the Business
• Understanding of P&ID’s and product processes
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Understanding of product and organization interfaces
• Mastery of English is essential, French is mandatory
• Start date : ASAP
• Contract : 9 months contract, possible extension
• Place of work : Liège area, Belgium
